On 11 April, for one night only, the effervescent all-day dining space at W Kuala Lumpur invites Bocado—the Spanish kitchen famed for its devotion to the Mediterranean sea—for an opulent, ocean-driven affair where flames, flair, and fusion take centre stage.

The premise: a collaborative seafood buffet where FLOCK’s Pan-Asian edge meets Bocado’s refined Spanish sensibilities. From classic Iberian plates to Southeast Asian spice, the event brings together two culinary styles with distinct points of view and a shared commitment to quality ingredients.
The Collaboration

FLOCK’s Chef Anas Luqman and Bocado’s Chef Victor Santos spearhead the evening’s lineup, crafting a buffet that bridges charcoal-forward Asian cooking with the soulful depth of Spanish seafood traditions.
“This collaboration is all about bringing together the best of both worlds—Bocado’s bold Spanish flavours and Flock’s vibrant Pan-Asian grill,” says Chef Anas. “Both Spanish and Pan-Asian cuisines have a deep respect for fresh, high-quality ingredients and expressive flavours.

- Fresh Water Prawn, Sriracha Lemongrass Butter
Think: smoky prawns drenched in a citrus-laced, spicy butter sauce that lingers with umami. - Singapore Chili Slipper Lobster, Fried Mantou
A tribute to Southeast Asia’s most beloved crab dish, reimagined with tender slipper lobster and golden mantou buns for unapologetic sauce-mopping.
From Bocado’s Iberian imagination:
