Café Colombo, known for its authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, invites diners to embark on a delectable feast this festive season with its special “Kenduri Colombo” offering.

From 7–30th March 2025, guests can savour a wide array of Sri Lankan favourites in a distinctive Nasi Kandar-inspired buffet experience at both Café Colombo locations in IOI City Mall and The Exchange TRX.

“Kenduri Colombo” reimagines the popular Malaysian Nasi Kandar concept with a Sri Lankan twist. This special buffet showcases the restaurant’s best-selling dishes, where guests can create their own “Sri Lankan Nasi Kandar” experience.

For only RM99 per person, you can get unlimited servings of fragrant biryani, tender lamb shank curry, flavourful squid masala, crispy Colombo fried fish, savoury tofu curry, tangy brinjal moju, the crowd-favourite sweet appam, and many more. Each dish is prepared with authentic Sri Lankan spices and flavours, offering a unique interpretation of this beloved cuisine style.

If you’re not that voracious, enjoy the flexibility of ordering à la carte by picking your favourites from the spread and paying as you would at your daily nasi kandar joint.

Our favourites were the flavourful fried fish cutlets, ghee-fried egg, and of course the sweet appam with its creamy coconut center and crispy crust. Special shoutout to the lovely raita that tied everything on my heaping plate together.

Kenduri Colombo is available from 3 to 10PM during the promotional period, and the usual ala-carte dining menu will only be available from 10.00AM–2.00PM
