We have recently visited Fuego at The Troika to sample their revamped menu. The Latin American-inspired restobar has an extensive menu of various guacamoles, unique ceviches, big and small plates perfect for sharing, and some of the best churros in the city.

Torito, helmed by Chef Ivan Casusol, is a recent addition to the KL dining scene serving up Peruvian-Japanese or Nikkei cuisine at the Banyan Tree. Peruvian cuisine is experiencing a global renaissance, and our city is no exception, with many restaurants and bars drawing inspiration and influences directly from the South American country.

From 10-15 February 2025, elevate your date to the 53th floor with a 6-course Valentine’s special for RM750 nett per person. On the menu are cassava bread, Nikkei-style crudo, leche de tigre-empowered Hokkaido scallop, and a choice of Wagyu or lobster entrées. The expansive windows at Torito set the scene for a romantic dinner with the picturesque KL city skyline in the background.

For those seeking a unique fine dining journey with their partners, book a table at Nadodi to experience nomadic South Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine. Located in the glamorous Four Seasons Hotel, the Michelin Selected fine dining restaurant is offering a grandiose 8-course menu that traverses the Indian subcontinent and its waters.

The Valentine’s Day special menu, which includes the Humble Broth of mangrove & blue swimmer crabs and one of their signature dishes — The Globe — among many other courses, is priced at RM790 per person. Adjourn to Vér, a hidden enclave within Nadodi’s walls, after dinner for drinks to continue the night.
