Just a stone’s throw away from the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s premier shopping district, KLoé Hotel’s brutalist facade breaks the glass-dominated visuals of its skyscraper neighbours, offering a sense of individuality and calm amidst all the the hustle and bustle. It’s name “KLoé” is a play on Kuala Lumpur’s initials and Chloe, a name that translates to “fresh bloom” in Greek, embodying the essence of the hotel’s vision to always be new, fresh and innovative.

And true to its name, the hotel is constantly working with local brands and businesses to offer new experiences to its guests and visitors. Its spaces are always filled by events, pop-up markets, workshops and other activities, and are open for you to host events from intimate dinners to lively parties.

ChitChat @ The Living Room

We were invited to an exclusive event to introduce the collaboration between Snackfood and KLoé, enlivened by various activities, great music and delicious bites. Keep reading to see what we did in the Living Room.

The beating heart of the hotel is the Living Room. The founders envisioned a communal space that transcends a conventional lobby and concierge — offering an environment for relaxation, mingling or even co-working with the home-like charm of someone’s living room. Ample sunlight pours in through the high clear glass ceiling and windows, creating contrast in the shadows of the eclectic yet tasteful furnishing.

The Holiday Shop by Snackfood

Taking a peek around the Living Room, an equally eclectic curation of artsy merchandise is available for purchase at the new collaboration outpost between the local curator and collector of happy things Snackfood and KLoé. The Holiday Shop is open 9AM–6PM daily. You can find a vibrant selection of travel essentials, locally-inspired souvenirs and special releases that mirror the youthful vibes of modern Kuala Lumpur.

Small bites by Lucky Coffee Bar

Lucky Coffee Bar carries the weight of KLoé’s in-house F&B needs — offering all-day dining from breakfast to supper, fantastic coffee and in-room service. Some highlights from their menu are the founder Ping’s favourite Wagyu pastrami, egg and cheese brioche sandwich and the pesto-based summer pasta. KLove Christmas Market with Trader’s Market happening 7 & 8 December!

KLoé is partnering with Traders Market to bring the KLove Christmas Market happening this weekend on 7 & 8 December! Sprawled across the poolside and studio spaces, you can expect pop-up boutiques featuring adorable home decor and lifestyle items, handcrafted accessories, tote bags and clutches, home fragrances, delicious treats and many, many more.

There will also be a leather accessories workshops by Fourjei and Shi Terrazo Atelier happening by the pool. Seats are limited though so pre-register or come early! For immaculate vibes, catch the cool kids from fono spinning live from 2–7PM on both days.
