Marriott International has brought its upscale long-stay hotel brand into the heart of Kuala Lumpur with the debut of Marriott Executive Apartments Kuala Lumpur (MEA KL), a 353-key property designed to bridge the comforts of home with the polish of a world-class hotel. Officially opened in mid-August, it marks the brand’s second Malaysian address and its largest property in Asia Pacific outside China.
Apartments with Purpose

The 37-floor, MEA KL distinguishes itself from the hotel-driven wave of openings by foregrounding residential-style living. Its collection spans studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments—each conceived not only for short visits but also for extended stays that require space, independence, and ease. Fully equipped kitchens, living and dining areas, washer-dryers, and thoughtful layouts with ample storage make every unit a self-contained retreat, balanced by views of the skyline, KLCC Park, or surrounding hills.

The design intention is clear: where most new city openings lead with dining and spectacle, MEA KL underscores its role as a residence. Its five-of-a-kind 3-bedroom apartments at 139 square metres are among the most expansive serviced accommodations in the city, while even the studios, facing KLCC Park, are substantial at 48 square metres.
KLCC at Your Doorstep

Set a short stroll from KLCC Park and the Petronas Twin Towers, MEA KL places its residents in Kuala Lumpur’s most photographed neighbourhood. Business travellers are positioned within easy reach of the Convention Centre, while leisure guests find the cultural energy of Bukit Bintang, Jalan Alor, and Changkat just minutes away. Direct access to both the Suria KLCC LRT and Conlay MRT stations makes navigation seamless, whether for daily commutes or spontaneous city explorations.
Spaces That Work Harder

Although the apartments are the main narrative, MEA KL complements them with communal and lifestyle offerings that round out its appeal. Bistro Kia Peng delivers modern Malaysian flavours in a setting that transitions from working breakfast to casual dinner. The hotel is also championing local produce and growers: sourcing fresh fish from Malacca and enlisting the green thumbs at BoomGrow to stock their salad shelves.

A rooftop venue provides event capacity with a skyline backdrop, positioning the property not only as a home but also as a host for both business and private gatherings.

Wellness is not left behind: a 24-hour fitness centre, lap pool, and dedicated family-friendly zones, including a kids’ splash area and playroom, anchor the balance between productivity and leisure.
A Different Kind of Arrival

“We look forward to welcome and take care of our guests, providing a memorable stay. Our spacious suites and stylish social spaces invite you to reconnect, recharge, and feel at home whether for a weekend or an extended stay,” notes General Manager Grant Young.
In the context of Kuala Lumpur’s accelerating hospitality landscape, MEA KL’s arrival adds a residential counterpoint to the city’s hotel-heavy mix. It speaks to travellers who prefer continuity and autonomy, yet want the reliability and service of a global brand. For both expatriates on assignment and families on relocation, it offers an executive apartment experience at the scale of a flagship opening.
Rooms from RM500+ per night. Opening offer include best rate and daily breakfast, from now til 30 December 2025.
