Blue Bottle Coffee has officially landed in Southeast Asia, opening its first regional café at LUMINE Singapore in Raffles City on 3 April 2025. The California-born specialty coffee brand, known for its disciplined approach to sourcing, roasting, and brewing, brings its global presence into Singapore’s well-developed coffee landscape.
Occupying a 135-square-metre space with seating for 42, the new café is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Designed with Blue Bottle’s signature minimalist aesthetic, the venue aims to provide a consistent experience rooted in hospitality, quality, and attention to detail—pillars that have defined the brand since its early days in Oakland.

Guests can expect a focused menu built around single-origin coffees and espresso-based beverages, alongside seasonal offerings and the brand’s hallmark pour-over service. Blue Bottle sources beans from sustainable farms worldwide, emphasising transparency and traceability across its supply chain.

Additionally, Blue Bottle is also partnering with Bakery Brera to offer a selection of delectable local-inspired French pastries such as pandan caneles and coconut kouign-amanns. Pair these baked goods with the signature NOLA—New Orleans-style coffee brewed with the earthy notes of roasted chicory.

“This café opening marks an exciting chapter for Blue Bottle Coffee in Southeast Asia,” said Kester Whitaker, Chief Growth Officer and Head of Asia. “Singapore’s rich coffee culture makes it the perfect home for our first café in the region.”

The Singapore location follows Blue Bottle’s earlier retail and exhibition presence launched in August 2024, and complements its cafés in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong SAR, and China. Its arrival adds to a growing roster of international specialty coffee brands establishing roots in Southeast Asia, signalling continued consumer demand for high-quality coffee experiences that prioritise sourcing ethics and craftsmanship.

The partnership with LUMINE reflects a shared focus on design and lifestyle-driven retail. “With this café, we hope to offer a space where guests can enjoy not only exceptionally brewed coffee, but also the thoughtful design and warm hospitality that defines both our brands,” said Teruyuki Omote, President and CEO of LUMINE Co., Ltd.
As Singapore continues to evolve as a regional hub for both heritage and contemporary café culture, Blue Bottle’s debut adds another credible name to the city’s coffee map.
